Data transfer for computers and laptops
Removing the storage device from the source computer and transferring user data to another storage device or computer.
Price by the size of the data: £75 up to 1 TB, £95 up to 2 TB, £125 up to 4 TB. Larger volumes, servers, RAID and NAS: see Data Copy & Archive.
Soldered storage cannot be removed: we copy through the computer itself, +£25, if the computer allows access to the data.
Hard drive cloning moves your system, programs and files to a compatible drive. The method depends on the source drive, the new drive and the condition of the system.
We check compatibility for your exact model. Send us the model or serial number before ordering.
If we find signs of a fault on the drive, we stop the work and agree the next steps with you. We do not recover data from failed or damaged drives.
Before returning the device or drive we check the result and, where possible, that it starts. If a problem related to our work appears within 14 days, we will check it free of charge and correct any mistakes we made. New faults are not covered. This does not affect your statutory rights.
No VAT is charged — we are not VAT-registered. If we become VAT-registered, VAT at the applicable rate will be added from that date.
