Managed VPS hosting in the UK
Your own virtual server in a UK data centre — and we run it for you: updates, monitoring, backups and security. You use the server; we keep it healthy.
What is a managed VPS, in plain words
A VPS is a server of your own that lives in a professional data centre instead of your office. It runs your website, your mail or your business applications around the clock. Managed means you never have to touch it: we install it, watch it, update it and back it up. If something needs attention at three in the morning, that is our problem, not yours.
It suits businesses that have outgrown shared hosting and website builders, want their mail independent from any single provider, or need to run their own applications such as Nextcloud, a CRM or a database.
Servers and prices
Fixed monthly prices, no VAT added. This is the price of the server itself — installing and looking after the applications on it is priced separately, below. Servers are in a UK data centre.
| Server | Best for | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Server M 4 vCores · 4 GB RAM · 120 GB NVMe | A website with room to grow, or several small services | £30 / month | Details |
| Server L 6 vCores · 8 GB RAM · 240 GB NVMe | Nextcloud, a CRM, a database — your own applications | £45 / month | Details |
| Server XL 8 vCores · 16 GB RAM · 480 GB NVMe | A private AI assistant, or heavier workloads | £95 / month | Details |
| Server XXL 12 vCores · 24 GB RAM · 720 GB NVMe | A large AI assistant, a busy database, several demanding applications | £145 / month | Details |

Installing and looking after applications
A server is a machine with an operating system on it. Mail, Nextcloud, a CRM or a database running on that server is separate work, and we take on as much of it as you need.
Setup and configuration — £100 on contract, £150 without. We install the application, configure it for you and check that it works. Charged once per application, and it covers up to two hours of work: the server prepared, the current stable version installed, a domain with a certificate, basic hardening, an administrator account and up to five users, the application added to our backup routine with one restore tested, and access details handed over. Moving data from an old system, links to your other systems, training and customisation are quoted separately. Larger applications such as Nextcloud have their own price.
Application cover — £30 per month, per application. We watch the application, keep it updated and fix it if it goes down. We do not deal with your staff about it — user questions stay with you.
Full application support — £75 per month, per application. Everything above, plus we answer your people directly: questions, file restores, changes on request, help for new starters.
The same prices apply on our server and on your own, if you already have one.
Example: company mail on your own domain — Server M at £30 plus application cover at £30, so £60 a month, with a one-off £150 for setup, or £100 if you are on a support contract.
Not included in application cover: version migrations that change the data structure, development and customisation, and recovery after changes made by your own staff. These are quoted separately, before any work starts.

Setup and migration
Standard migration — £75 one-off. One website or one mail domain up to 10 GB: we provision the server, move the data, switch DNS and check everything works. Free when you pay for a year of Managed VPS up front.
Complex migrations are quoted separately, before any work starts. Several websites, large mailboxes, custom applications or databases — we assess them free of charge and give you a fixed quote, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
What we look after — and what stays with you
We are responsible for the server itself: the operating system, its availability, updates, monitoring and backups. Applications on the server are looked after by us when you add application cover; without it they stay on your side. Your content and data always remain yours. We keep the platform they stand on healthy — that honest boundary is why our prices stay flat.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from ordinary web hosting?
Shared hosting puts hundreds of customers on one machine with fixed limits. A VPS is yours alone: your resources, your applications, your rules — with us doing the housekeeping.
What happens during a migration?
We copy your site or mail to the new server first, test it, and only then switch the domain over. Downtime is minutes, not days, and the old hosting stays untouched until you cancel it.
What if I stop needing the server?
Plans are monthly. If you leave, we hand your data back and keep backups for 30 days after the last paid day.
Where are the servers?
In a UK data centre. Your data does not leave the country.
