A small IT company looking after other small companies
Pro Technologies Limited is a family run business. We started in 1997, moved to the United Kingdom from Lithuania in 2011 and registered Pro Technologies Limited here in 2012 (company number 08184949). Today we look after the computers, servers and cloud accounts that businesses in London and across the UK depend on every working day.
Where we came from
We began by repairing computers and setting up small networks. That work taught us something we still build on: most IT problems that reach a business owner are not really technical problems. They are the result of nobody being responsible for the boring, repeatable things — updates, backups, leavers who still have access, a server nobody has looked at in two years.
Over time more of our customers stopped being households with a broken laptop and started being companies with ten or thirty people who could not work when something went wrong. So we changed what we sell. Business IT support is now the main thing we do, and it is priced and organised as an ongoing relationship rather than a series of emergencies.
We still repair computers for people at home. That side has not gone away, it simply sits alongside the business work rather than in front of it.

How we prefer to work
One company responsible
You should not have to referee between an IT provider, a phone supplier and a software vendor. Where we can, we take that on and deal with them ourselves.
Prevention before firefighting
Updates, patches and backup checks happen on a schedule. Most of what we do should be invisible to your team.
Plain language
We will explain what is wrong and what it will cost in words you can act on, and we will tell you when something is not worth spending money on.
No surprise invoices
Day-to-day support is covered by the monthly fee. Projects, migrations, hardware and out-of-hours work are quoted before they start.
Who we are a good fit for
Companies of roughly five to fifty people. Big enough that IT problems cost real money, small enough that a full-time IT department is hard to justify.
Businesses without internal IT, or with one person who needs cover for holidays, illness and the work they never get round to.
Remote and hybrid teams spread across several locations, where most help has to arrive remotely.
We are probably not the right choice if you need a large team on site every day, round-the-clock cover through the night, or a supplier who will agree to a formal uptime guarantee. We would rather say so at the first conversation than take the work and disappoint you.
If we are not a fit, we will usually be able to point you at someone who is.

Who we are not for
We would rather say this now than after you have signed.
If you need cover outside our hours as standard. We work Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Work outside those hours is available by arrangement at double rate, but if you need nights and weekends routinely, a provider built around that will cost you less.
If you are one or two people. Our minimum is £300 a month, which is poor value at that size. Our remote support by appointment is the better route, and we will say so.
If price is the deciding factor. We do not compete on price and we do not work break-fix by the hour.
If you need an engineer on site every day. We are remote-first. Site visits happen by arrangement, within an agreed allowance.
If your business runs on specialist industry software. We will not take on support of the application itself — the vendor knows it and we do not. We will look after the network, the hardware and the operating systems underneath it.
Come and talk to us
Thirty minutes, no obligation and no sales script. We will tell you plainly whether we can help.
