Odoo implementation and support for small and medium-sized businesses
We set up, adapt and look after Odoo — from a first configuration to data migration, integrations and ongoing support. Work is paid in prepaid blocks of hours, so you always know what you are paying for and how much is left.
We run our own companies on Odoo: seven websites, online shops, subscriptions, a helpdesk and the accounting all live in one Odoo 19 database. What we set up for you is what we use every day.
Already on Xero, QuickBooks or Sage?
Keep using them if bookkeeping is all you need — they do it well. Odoo pays off when the accounts are only one of several systems: a CRM, a stock app, an online shop and spreadsheets in between, with orders and invoices typed in twice.
- One record from quote to invoice. In Odoo the quote, the order, the delivery, the stock movement and the invoice are linked, so nobody re-types them between apps.
- Stock beyond the basics. Several warehouses, barcodes, lots and serial numbers, reordering rules, buy- and make-to-order — tied to sales, purchasing and manufacturing.
- UK accounting included. The UK chart of accounts, VAT returns under Making Tax Digital and CIS are part of Odoo's UK localisation. Payroll can run in Odoo, while the RTI submissions to HMRC go through separate HMRC-recognised payroll software — that is how we do it ourselves.
- Move in stages. Start with the part that hurts most — for example sales and stock — and add the rest step by step.
Odoo is priced per user, so it is not automatically cheaper. In Discovery we compare the full cost over two to three years — licences, the apps it replaces, set-up and support — before you decide.
What an Odoo system costs
The price of Odoo is made of four separate parts. Knowing them in advance avoids the most common surprise — a quote for implementation that says nothing about licences or hosting.
- Licences. Paid directly to Odoo, per user per month; the price depends on the plan and the number of users.
- Hosting. Odoo Online and Odoo.sh are hosted by Odoo; a self-hosted installation runs on your own server or on our Managed VPS.
- Support. Updates, backup checks, user administration and small changes — our Odoo Care plan at £195 a month, with up to two hours of work included.
- Implementation. Configuration, data migration, integrations and training — paid in blocks of hours, see below.
Blocks of hours
Every block is paid in advance and valid for 12 months. The more hours in a block, the lower the price per hour.
Micro
8 hours — £680
£85 per hour. For micro-businesses and simple processes, or small changes to an Odoo you already use.
Small
40 hours — £3,200
£80 per hour. For a small business with standard processes, where configuration and training are enough.
Medium
160 hours — £12,000
£75 per hour. For small and medium-sized businesses that need integrations, data migration and custom modifications.
Enterprise
Quoted individually
For complex processes that need analysis, system changes and several integrations. The price follows Discovery & Scoping.
Smaller one-off requests are billed at £85 per hour, with no block. Discovery & Scoping costs £450, and if you buy a block within three months of it, the £450 is deducted from the block price.

Payment providers, couriers, banks, your website; a clean import of customers, products and balances. Each integration is questioned before it is built.

Testing and training
Real scenarios on a test copy, then training by role, so everyone knows their part and what depends on it.

Go-live and support
Launch is the start of real use, not the end of the project: the first weeks are when the questions that matter appear.
How the hours work
- Estimate first. Before each task we say how many hours it will take; work starts only when you agree.
- A monthly statement. What was done and how many hours remain, in one short report.
- Any Odoo work. Configuration, data import, training, reports, integrations and development all come from the same block.
- Valid for 12 months. The hours do not have to be used in one go.
- Working hours. Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00 UK time; urgent work outside those hours counts double.
- Remote, worldwide. Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or a self-hosted installation.
Common questions
How long does an implementation take?
It depends on the number of apps, the state of your data and how much time your team can give. A small company with standard processes often goes live in two to four weeks; projects with integrations take longer. Discovery gives you a realistic timeline.
Which block do I need?
If you are not sure, start with Discovery & Scoping: the report ends with a plan and the number of hours it needs. For small changes to an Odoo you already use, the 8-hour block is usually enough.
What happens when a block runs out?
We tell you in advance, when the remaining hours will not cover the next task. You can buy another block or pay for the remaining work at the hourly rate.
Do you work with an Odoo database we already have?
Yes — Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or self-hosted, including databases set up by another partner. For regular help, the Odoo Care plan is usually the better fit.
Is the Odoo licence included?
No. The licence is paid directly to Odoo and depends on the plan and the number of users. We help you choose the plan, so you do not pay for apps you will not use.
