The cheapest way to make an old computer fast again
A mechanical hard drive is the slowest part of most computers. Replacing it with an SSD usually does more for everyday speed than extra memory or a newer processor: the machine boots in seconds, programs open immediately and it stops freezing when several applications are open at once.
What we do
We clone your existing system to the new drive, so Windows or macOS, your programs, settings and files all arrive exactly as you left them. There is nothing to reinstall and no licences to re-enter. We fit the drive, check the machine boots correctly and verify that your data is intact.
What the price covers
£90 covers the labour: cloning, fitting and testing. The SSD itself is not included — we can supply the right drive for your machine and quote for it separately, or fit one you have already bought.
How long it takes
Most jobs are done the same day. Very full drives take longer to clone, and we will tell you in advance if that applies to yours.
