Umbrel Home is a palm-sized cloud server for the house or a small office. Your files, photos and backups stay on your own hardware, reachable from any device on the network and remotely through Tailscale — with no monthly storage bill.

The price covers the unit itself. Delivery to you is charged separately and quoted with your order. Setting the unit up is also a paid service: basic installation and configuration is £120, and applications such as Nextcloud are quoted according to what is involved. Ongoing care is available under Umbrel Care. The unit is straightforward enough to set up yourself if you would rather.

Immich to back up the photos from every phone in the house. Jellyfin for films and music on the TV. Tailscale for private access from anywhere without opening ports. AdGuard Home or Pi-hole to strip ads and trackers from the whole network. Home Assistant for heating, lights and cameras. Ollama and Open WebUI to run AI models locally. OpenClaw for an always-on assistant answering on WhatsApp or Telegram — the 16 GB of memory in this machine is the specification that needs. A Bitcoin node, if that is your interest.
