Getting the application onto the server
We install the application, set it up for the way you work and hand it over working. Charged once, per application.
What is included
- Preparing the server for the application — environment, dependencies, directories.
- Installing the current stable version.
- A domain or subdomain with a certificate.
- Basic hardening: sign-in, unnecessary ports closed, security updates switched on.
- An administrator account and up to five users.
- The application added to our backup routine, with one restore tested on the spot.
- A check that it does what you expect, access details sent to you and a short note on how to sign in.
What is not included
Moving data from an old system, links to your other systems, training your staff, customisation and non-standard configurations. Each of those is quoted before any work starts. A second application is a second setup.
Typical applications
A mail server, Nextcloud, a CRM, a database, an internal tool. If you are not sure what you need, we will tell you what fits the server you have. Larger applications such as Nextcloud have their own price.
What happens next
Setup on its own does not include ongoing care. To have us keep the application updated and watched afterwards, add Application cover at £30 a month, or Full application support at £75 a month if you also want us answering your people.
Terms
£150 one-off per application, no VAT added. If you are on an IT support contract with us, the same work is £100 — we already hold your access and know your systems. The price covers up to two hours of work; if the application needs more, we tell you before we start and quote it.
